WHAT A GREAT SHOW!

I congratulate the cast, crew, musicians and their mentors on a fantastic production of‘Going Forward - the Musical’.

It was a hugely uplifting experience for all who witnessed it.

There is no doubt, this show is up there with the best that Blackrock College has produced. I salute the extraordinary talent of the students from both schools, who clearly enjoyed themselves as much, indeed probably more, than their awe-struck audience.

It was a pleasure to work with the girls of Loreto Abbey, Dalkey.

I thank my colleagues who made it possible - Ms O'Kane,
Mr T O'Brien, and Mr Savage, past students Ciaran Olohan
(Class of 1999) and Derrick Devine (Class of 1996), our excellent Choreographer Cathy Tonge, Sound Director Jodi Trehy, Bandleader Dave Keegan.

I particularly thank Ms Campion, Mr D'Arcy and Mr Kelleher, who courageously took to the stage and played leading roles in this excellent production with aplomb and panache.

Well done!
