LED 2011

On LED 2011, the College’s electrical consumption was reduced by 200 units (kWh) when compared to the previous Thursday, February 3rd, 2011.
THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT 11% REDUCTION.
Over the 180 school days of a school year this would amount to an energy saving of
**36,000 kWh**.
I congratulate the Green Schools’ Committee and
Mr Daly on their initiative. We hope it will raise awareness about energy conservation in a world where man-made CO2 emissions matter and where they need to be dramatically reduced.
